Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend, joins her on stage, surprising fans.

Taylor Swift startled her sold-out Eras Tour audience in Kansas City by inviting her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner on stage.

The 'Twilight' actor, who inspired Swift's song 'Back To December,' was joined by actresses Joey King and Presley Cash, both of whom participated with Swift in her new music video for the song 'I Can See You (Taylor's Version).

The music video, which stars all three actors, was published on the same day as Swift's album 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version),' and people attending concerts were among the first to see it.

Lautner made a spectacular debut, shocking the audience with a cartwheel and backflip as he down the stage ramp.

Swift acknowledged her appreciation for Lautner, praising his constructive input on the making of her "Speak Now" album.

"He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the 'Speak Now' album, and I want to say he did every single stunt that you saw in that music video," stated Swift.

Because we all have the same first name, he and his wife have grown to be some of my closest friends.

Lautner, on his part, acknowledged his admiration for Swift both as an artist and a person.

He replied, "I appreciate you so much, not just for the singer, songwriter and performer that you are, but also for the human that you are.

"I'm honoured to know you because you are gracious, modest, and kind."

Do you know when they were in a relationship?

Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner's relationship ended in 2009 after a brief courtship lasting a few months.

After having met on the shooting of "Valentine's Day," they initially gained attention when they were spotted together at a hockey game.

Then, in December 2009, their romance came to an end, and both celebrities made an effort to downplay it.

According to a person close to Taylor Swift, "It was never a big deal to begin with, and the media made way more out of it than it is."
