 At the Barbie movie's Los Angeles global premiere, Dua Lipa, who plays Mermaid Barbie, dressed in a silky see-through outfit.

 

At the Barbie movie premiere in Los Angeles, singer Dua Lipa caught everyone's attention with her red-carpet ensemble. The English-Albanian performer, who brought us the year's biggest party song with Dance The Night, had everyone on the red carpet gasping for air in a transparent floor-length outfit.

Dua stood out in a silver mesh dress as the Barbie ensemble was dressed in colourful tones of pink, black, and beige for the lovely event.

The multi-hyphenated diva, who portrays Mermaid Barbie in the movie, put on a slinky chainmail dress with a square neckline, a floor-skimming hem, and plenty of sparkle.

The Levitating pop star elected to dish a bra and placed her transparent gown over nothing but a similar crystal-covered thong. She added a straightforward diamond choker, holographic silver shoes, and silver drop earrings to complete the ensemble.

Dua Lipa added a touch of Barbie glam to the ensemble by sporting rosy lips, a light pink manicure, and blown-out waves with a middle part.

Dua Lipa wore a gorgeous Barbie-themed costume for a picture session on her hotel balcony the day before her big Sunday night debut. The singer posed in a pink velvet minidress, thigh-high pink boots, and a silver purse for a collection of pictures on Saturday.

She let her dangly silver earrings on full show while wearing her hair in a neat top knot. She complemented the outfit with smokey, bronzed eyes.

"Come on Barbie, let's go party," Dua said in the caption.

Dance The Night, a song by Dua Lipa, is featured on Barbie's soundtrack.

Greta Gerwig's Barbie stars Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Emma Mackey, Simu Liu, Michael Cera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, and Ncuti Gatwa in a large ensemble. It will be released on July 21.
