On Saturday night, at Samford University in Birmingham, among the top 5 finalists, Brianna Burrell has been crowned Miss Alabama 2023.
She competed for the title of Miss Baldwin County against 41 other women from throughout the state. Burrell was awarded a $15,000 financial scholarship for winning Miss Alabama. She also earned two preliminary honours in the evening gown and talent categories during the preliminary competition.

The new Miss Alabama 2023 is a Political Science graduate from the University of South Alabama. She was also a former Miss Saraland High School title holder.
Burrell's responsibilities start right away. For the upcoming year, she will represent Alabama in public, inspire others, and further her community service project.
Burrell's programme, "SAVE-A-STEM," inspires minority youngsters and pupils in underfunded schools to study science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Later this year, she will compete in the Miss America contest as Alabama's representative.
