Kristin Davis, the star of "Sex and the City," claims that she sobbed after receiving "constant mockery" over her fillers.

Since she had fillers, Kristin Davis claims that she has heard some individuals make fun of her appearance, and the remarks have wounded her.

The "Sex and the City" actress talked about the emotional struggle she went through while dealing with this criticism and navigating the confusing world of cosmetic surgery in an interview with a well-known magazine on Friday.

"I've done fillers both excellent and awful, and both have worked for me. I had to disintegrate them, and I was constantly made fun of. And I have cried about it. There's a lot of stress," Davis remarked.

Davis admitted that she was unaware that her lips were out of place until she was questioned about it by pals.

"For a very long period, nobody ever warned me that it didn't look good. Fortunately, though, I have excellent friends who have said it eventually. You don't grin at yourself in the mirror, that's the problem. Who gives oneself a grin in the mirror? People who are insane," Davis stated.

According to Davis, she and other famous people were just "trusting doctors" with these surgeries and accepting the public backlash "when it goes wrong."

In the "SATC" world, Davis, who portrays Charlotte York Goldenblatt, also spoke about the double standard she encounters in terms of her appearance.

Being constantly reminded of your youth is challenging. And it might be difficult to keep in mind that you don't have to appear that way. The internet both wants and does not want you to. They are deeply divided," she remarked.

Around the time when the HBO spin-off of the programme, "And Just Like That," debuted in 2021, talk about the looks of the "SATC" actresses increased.

In December 2021, Sarah Jessica Parker, whose debut in the spin-off drew criticism due to her grey hair, told Vogue that the comments around her and her co-stars' looks were "misogynistic chatter."

When the critiques initially surfaced in 2021, Davis also weighed in. According to Davis, "Everyone wants to remark, pro or nay or whatever, on our hair and our features and our this and our that. It was shocking how intense it was.

HBO will debut "And Just Like That" season 2 on June 22.
