After Kenny Bayless calls off the match, the camps of Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III swarm the ring and fight.

Referee Kenny Bayless canceled the main event of Sunday's Mayweather vs. Gotti III exhibition because he was unable to control Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III's behavior in the ring.

Chaos occurred because Gotti III wasn't prepared to put an end to the fight.

After Bayless' call, Gotti III vowed to continue the fight, prompting Mayweather's staff to act immediately to the former boxing champion's rescue. This caused Gotti III's team to assault the ring, ending in an ugly confrontation that prematurely ended the shoddily run showcase event in the sixth round.

The eight-round bout was delayed for several minutes when entourages refused to make way for cornermen, a sign that officials were having trouble keeping the boxers' camps under control. As soon as Gotti III and his big entourage were the targets of Mayweather's constant taunts, the former MMA fighter became enraged. With Mayweather continuing to smirk and make fun of his utterly outclassed opponent, Gotti III was no longer playing the helpless victim.

Prior to the crucial sixth round, Bayless attempted to cool things up by chastising both corners for talking incessantly. As his corner sought to calm him down, Gotti III protested to Bayless about a shot to the back of the head.

But when Mayweather resumed his routine, Gotti III lost his composure and grabbed another arm, holding him in a collar tie as if he were getting ready for an assault that may be legal in an MMA cage. The Zeus Network pay-per-view broadcast feed cut away to a title card by the time security personnel had subdued the riot, which was Bayless' final straw.

The event held on Sunday at FLA Live in Sunrise, Florida, was a new low among demonstrations that provided Mayweather with a lengthy victory lap following his illustrious career (and the kind of multi-million earning chances often reserved for professional battles).
