In the Mission District of San Francisco, shootings occurred on Friday night. It was a drive-by shooting, according to witnesses. Police in San Francisco are requesting that locals stay away from the 24th Street and Treat Avenue neighborhood as they conduct an investigation.

Police were called to the incident at 9:07 p.m., according to SFPD. They discovered many people who had been shot. According to the police, medical personnel arrived, and the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals. Their health status is still unknown.

Police provided an update and stated that all nine victims were likely to survive. Police believe that this was a singular, deliberate occurrence.

According to information obtained by KTVU, several of the patients were transferred to San Francisco General Hospital. If all nine victims were transported there is unknown. The drive-by shooting was confirmed by sources.

One person is reportedly requiring surgery, according to Sergio Lerma, a legislative assistant for Mission District Supervisor Hillary Ronen. Four persons, he claimed, were receiving minor injury treatment. Lerma reported hearing gunshots and witnessing the arrival of paramedics.

"approximately an hour before this incident, I was approximately 10 feet away from my 3-month-old. This is an anomaly. In general, this is a pretty safe neighborhood. Lerma claimed that he routinely strolls the neighborhood with his family. "Much like you, we are really worried about this situation. We want a solution to be found.

The data provided by the SFPD is preliminary. The incident appears to have taken place on the streets, so police are gathering evidence.

One witness claimed to have been there when the shooting took place. The woman, who remained anonymous, informed us that there was a neighborhood celebration going on with family, food, and festivities. She claimed that someone from a car opened fire during the event, which she described as a drive-by shooting. She claimed that to escape the gunshot, she and her 13-year-old nephew rushed down the block. She said that one of her pals had been shot at.

"If someone viewing this right now was doing that, then...Children, relatives, friends, and even a person I know who was shot were present. They were shot and taken to the hospital, but I have no idea where they were shot. When there are children present, you know you can't do that.

The witness claimed to reside nearby. She claimed she saw people bleeding on the ground as she glanced down. One individual was clutching their swollen head.

Officials suggest avoiding the area, anticipating traffic delays, and considering other routes because emergency services are on hand.

This is in a neighborhood with a mix of residential and commercial properties.

There was no known information about the suspect or the suspected car.
