The Show Must Go On: Taylor Swift gets drenched but cheerful as she plays in a thunderstorm in Massachusetts.

During her Eras tour of North America, the pop musician encountered some harsh weather conditions.

Taylor Swift fans know that the US music diva enjoys a good rainstorm since she has frequently sung about them.

So it was predictable that the 33-year-old was glad to continue her live act in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Saturday night (20 May), despite the rain.

Swift was wet but happy as she asked her fans at Gillette Stadium if they wanted "one more song" before going into "Karma," a track off her current album Midnights.

As the song's opening began, she pulled on a dazzling jacket with the aid of one of her dancers and battled to hold back her dripping-wet hair.

Her dancers looked to be having a good time as well, smiling as they joined Swift on stage for the performance.

"I could have stayed for 1,000 more songs," one TikTok user commented in the caption of their video.

"How is she not FREEZING?" one admirer commented in the comments area, while another said, "She looks so happy, having such a good time."

Another expressed logistical concerns, such as "How is the mic doing with all that water?" "What kind of boots is she wearing to avoid slipping and sliding?"

Others laughed about how worried the staff must be, with one saying, "I know the crew electricians have to be stressed."

Swift has encountered plenty of dramatic weather on the North American portion of her Eras tour, including a three-and-a-half-hour show in her hometown of Nashville while thunder and lightning boomed overhead.

When the rain began to fall severely around an hour into Swift's concert, she just reminded her 70,000-strong audience that it was "officially a rain show" and continued to perform.

"This is something that we're all working on together." It appears to be a really connecting event. We're all going to leave here tonight looking like we just had five car washes... 'Where were you?' people will ask. 'Multiple wars?' 'No, I just went to the Eras Tour,' you say. 'It's all right,' she continued.

Many admirers praised the singer's "charisma" and "willingness" to finish the act despite the inclement weather.

"The level of professionalism and respect for her fans makes me like her even more... like that's a f***ing artist right there," one fan remarked after seeing her perform in Nashville.
