The Super Mario Bros. movie is now accessible digitally after shattering box office records.

Now available for digital rentals or sales, Nintendo and Illumination's smash blockbuster movie is jumping into homes.

An amazing box office high score of $1+ billion worldwide has been amassed by Illumination's animated rendition of Nintendo's enduring Super Mario franchise. It's time for Mario and Luigi to return home as the multiplex continues to extract every last penny from customers. I'll go to your house. The popular movie is now available for digital home purchase and rental.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which was finally released on April 5 after much anticipation and rumor, garnered both favorable and unfavorable reviews. While the movie has the "makings of a rousing adventure," according to our own Carolyn Petit, it ultimately feels like a "transparently hollow commercial product" that was "designed in a lab to make our brains light up with recognition for things we love, without actually reminding us why that love exists in the first place."

The movie went on to earn huge amounts of money at the box office, with its current worldwide total coming in at just under $1.2 billion, despite the poor reviews (or perhaps because of them). Possibly the biggest film of 2023, if not the biggest, will be this one. Not too shabby for two plumbers from New York City! Currently, different digital shops and applications in the US and Canada are offering their enjoyable journey in digital format. This should make it considerably simpler to post the complete movie to Twitter, which has been a thing for a few weeks.

Even though the film has well-known actors like Chris Pratt, Jack Black is considered to be the movie's undisputed star by viewers and Kotaku's own Slack chats. In the movie, the comedian/actor/musician/cool man portrays Bowser, and he does an amazing job of expressing the character's contemporary blend of menace and grief. Oh, and the song "Peaches" is arguably the highlight of the whole picture. Even weeks afterward, I can't get it out of my thoughts. In fact, how about we watch the gorgeous song's video once more?

While we watch this, let's recall the time Jack Black appeared on a talk program to promote a movie dressed as Bowser, but because his balls were so evident, someone at the network forced the show to edit his attire in an obnoxious way. Recently, Jack Black's new Tenacious D song, "Video Games," gained fresh popularity. I've also been singing the song nonstop. Jack Black, you're a jerk!

Anyway, let's go back to the main subject because this isn't an article on Jack Black—at least, it wasn't intended to be one. You may now view the Mario cartoon film at home using your chosen online retailer or streaming service. Enjoy the film and keep an eye out for several extremely inventive and enjoyable Easter eggs.
